PHOTOARTS

PhotoArts claims to be "dedicated to the community of collectors, dealers, professionals and enthusiasts of fine-art photogrpahy, providing comprehensive, international coverage of the art photography marketplace." Upon our first visit, we could already see that it delivers. We've viewed lots of independent photography sites on the Web, but rarely do we find such a comprehensive source. It links personal sites, and business/dealer sites for collectors. The gallery highlights select artists on a regular basis and there's also a photography events listings. In addition to pointing you to relevant art sites on the Web, the page also contains resources for exhibit previews, chats and professional contacts, should you want to break into the scene. Manh image samples and biographies are included. One-stop shopping, for sure.
