World Art Treasures is an electronic $200 coffee-table book. This site is a beautiful art history lesson, divided into sections based on genre and geographical location. More than 100,000 slides were donated by the Jacques-Edouard Berger Foundation to help this site reach its goal of educating Netizens on the value of art. Links to what the Webmaster views as the best art links on the Web and special exhibits (in documentary form) round off the site. You can expect to learn a great deal about art history from his page; however, realize that World Art is primarily a study of the classics. Don't expect to find much about modern (especially not contemporary) art and graphic design. Actually, most of the art featured here is Eastern. Well worth a long, studious visit.
