"What we do is make images, so we can drive ideas into people's brains like a spike into an overripe melon." Well, good thing they're not making similes. Digital Domain, the special-effects juggernaut (Apollo 13, True Lies, the Budweiser commercial with the frogs) founded by director James Cameron, monster-man Stan Winston and ex-ILM V.P. Steve Ross, cops a lot of attitude at this site, but hey, they're doing a lot of cool stuff. Still, shouldn't a Web site for a special effects company have a few more JPEGS and maybe a few flicks? If we're going to have our heads turned into melons, we'll need to see this stuff in action.
