Can a mere exclamation point tagged onto a title make a musical exciting? Can punctuation make a production? If Disney's 1992 extravaganza Newsies! (about turn-of-the-century striking street urchins) is any indication, we'd say no. This site is packed with mounds of publicity material, ranging from a detailed synopsis to production stills and cast bios for nearly everyone who appears. Then you can check out the lyric link, enlightening you to evil capitalists and a stirring message about child labor laws -- in e-z rhyming couplets. Newsies rhymes with Uzis, doesn't it? The site (and musical) may be dull, but it didn't make us that angry--it actually should've been called "Snoozies!"
