However, this site is the best collection of biographical information we could find on the man best known for the 1995 Serin gas attack in a Japanese subway. Asahara is the leader of the AUM Supreme Truth cult. Saying this is the best we could find does not mean much. The site is a single-paged, textual site that has huge gaps in information, like about 27 years' worth. For some reason, the site does not address Asahara's activities post-1992, those which landed him in jail. Hmm.
