Waste L.A. is a dark and gritty photographic comic that is published in the form of a paper 'zine bi-monthly and updated online weekly. Each page continues the theme for an issue, or chapter as they are called by the Webmasters. The black-and-white images create a macabre mood, perfectly matching the tone of the dialog. Captions are added to each frame, or photograph, to illustrate the activity of each tableau. Prostitutes, guns, death, booze, drugs...this 'zine has all the components for a raunchy West Coast love story. Back issues are available to browse or download so you never miss a beat. The photography is excellent.
