Pretty much everybody who's reading this magazine has gotten online, or intends to; we know that modems can be beastly to set up, and we appreciated this page as a resource for buying and installing one. It explained the different speeds and protocols, and detailed how to set up a modem under different operating systems. There were tips on how to improve the connect speed of your modem and links to modem news and manufacturers. This was really well-written and accessible to the novice.
