HAZARDS OF STAYING ON THE NET FOR TOO LONG

* * * *

We admit that, at first, we thought this was going to be a joke, but it is quite serious, compiling essays about the hazards of staring at the screen, repetitive stress injuries, receding from "real life," loneliness, defamation of character online, copyright infringement and loss of independent thinking time. Some of the arguments are pretty convincing, and had us feeling a bit guilty (and sickly).The only drawback was a link to Time Magazine's infamous cyberporn debacle. Food for thought, overall.
