"...Rather than trying to mirror the font archives on the Net, the IFA is a database of fonts utilizing the hypertext functionality of the WWW to point to other archive sites. The database contains information about each font and a thumbnail sketch of a few characters. In addition to fonts available on the Net, the IFA database now includes fonts from several commercial foundries and type CDs."
