SEISMO-CAM

* * *

Call it the Quake Cam. Here, a live camera is connected to an earthquake-measuring helicorder in Los angeles. Wait long enough, and you might get a glimpse of the Big One! Well, at least see the cool squiggly lines that the helicorder reads. This site can be addictive. You may find yourself clicking and reloading to see the latest measurements, which look exactly like the previous measurements. This is better than watching grass grow, though. It also includes some serious infromation on earthquackes and archives of actual earthquakes captured by the Seismo-Cam.
