Do you feel the funk? Groove Central has "Parliafunkadelicment Type Thangs" from album and concert reviews to funky images and the motherpage, where you'll find lyrics, a bibliography and an FAQ dedicated to funk. A huge textual list of sampled music is an interesting read, but it doesn't make up for the fact that this site is like a roach motel. The way it's constructed, once you go into a page, you can't get out. You're not given return buttons or any means to easily hop from page to page. Since the site has a lot of unique content, including the blaxploitation movie and song page, "funk is its own reward!" And we can overlook the navigation difficulties.
